Maree Kay,
Counsellor

“Finding a collaborative way of working together — one that genuinely fits — is central to how I practise.”

Maree brings over 25 years of clinical experience to her work with individuals, couples, families and groups. She holds a BCouns (Bachelor of Counselling) from Wellington Institute of Technology, and is a member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors (NZAC). She has worked across a wide range of settings — including with youth, couples and families, organisational groups, and personal development and support groups.

She works holistically, drawing on a wide range of counselling and psychotherapy approaches rather than a single method, and adapts her style to suit whoever she’s working with. Finding a collaborative way of working together — one that genuinely fits — is central to how she practises.

Sessions are available face to face, by phone, or over Zoom. If you have any questions before booking, Maree is happy to hear from you by email and will respond personally.
